Beth Kaufman was born and raised in Queens, New York. She graduated from Benjamin Cardozo High School in Bayside, New York. She obtained her B.A. in History in 2006 from Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York, from where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her J.D. in 2009 from University at Buffalo Law School, from where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of Buffalo Law Review.
In 2009, Ms. Kaufman began her legal career as an Assistant Law Clerk to Honorable Judith J. Gische, who is now a Justice in the New York State Court, Appellate Division, First Department.
As an Assistant Law Clerk, Ms. Kaufman was responsible for conferencing cases with attorneys in various civil cases and drafting decisions on motions, many of which ended up being published in the New York Law Journal.
Ms. Kaufman joined the firm in 2011. Ms. Kaufman's practice is concentrated in the defense of hospitals and medical professionals in medical malpractice actions.
